Why MyLog

Your plans should not end at the refrigerator door.

We wanted to spend more time outdoors without treating every transfer of temperature-sensitive medication like a logistical emergency. MyLog was designed around a simple idea: medication has conditions to follow—and life still has places to go.

Designed for people who carry:

  • Insulin or backup temperature-sensitive medication
  • GLP-1 and other medications that must avoid heat
  • Medication across cars, flights, hotels, and outdoor stops

Two ways to keep cool

Power when available.
Ice packs when it isn’t.

MyLog is not battery-powered. Its hybrid design lets you choose the cooling method that fits each leg of the journey.

01

POWERED MODE

Connect for active cooling on the move

Plug MyLog into a compatible USB-C power source. While power remains connected, the cooling system is designed to keep operating at the selected mode.

  • Wall adapter
  • Compatible seat power
02

PASSIVE MODE

Prototype-tested passive cooling with ice packs

When external power is not available, the insulated interior and ice-pack compartment provide a practical bridge between powered stops.

Runtime varies with ambient temperature, starting temperature, ice-pack condition, contents, and how often the case is opened.

Cooling, shaped around the contents

A direct cold surface, not just cold air.

The contoured metal plate creates a stable contact area inside the insulated case, while the external fan manages airflow around the active cooling assembly.

01

Active cooling module operates from external power.

02

Visible temperature display helps you check conditions before opening.

03

Ventilated exterior keeps air pathways clear around the cooling unit.

Organized protection

Everything has a place.

Reflective insulation surrounds the interior. Elastic retainers hold medication against the cooling area, while the lid compartment separates accessories and ice packs.

External power by design

No battery hidden inside.

MyLog draws power only when connected. A large elastic pocket is sewn across the rear panel to hold a compatible power bank close, while the USB-C port also works with other suitable external sources.

Why it matters

No internal cell to charge, replace, or leave aging inside the product. You choose the power capacity for the trip.

Power source and cable requirements will be confirmed in final production specifications. Airline rules still apply to any separate power bank you carry.

Frequently asked questions

Before you take
MyLog with you.

Clear answers based on the current working prototype. Final production specifications will be published on Kickstarter.

Does MyLog have a built-in battery?

No. MyLog has no built-in battery. Active cooling works only while connected to a compatible external power source.

Can it keep cooling continuously?

The cooling system keeps operating while compatible external power remains connected and airflow paths stay clear. Actual interior temperature still depends on ambient conditions, contents, and use.

What are the three temperature settings?

P1 targets 59°F / 15°C, P2 targets 54°F / 12°C, and P3 targets 44°F / 7°C. The display shows the measured interior temperature.

How long does it stay cool without power?

A current prototype test observed up to 4.5 hours of passive cooling with prepared ice packs. This is not a guarantee for every environment or load.

Can I take it on a flight?

The case itself contains no battery. Any separate power bank must follow the airline’s current rules. Confirm requirements before travel.

Is joining the launch list a purchase commitment?

No. Joining is free and non-binding. It only lets us send the Kickstarter launch link and important updates.

Important use note

Medication storage requirements vary by product, brand, formulation, and whether it is opened or unopened. Always follow the medication label and guidance from a qualified healthcare professional. MyLog does not determine whether medication remains suitable for use. Performance varies with ambient conditions, contents, airflow, power source, and user operation.
